The family behind the home

Keren Tova-Gomel – Ruach Dromit CEO

Who am I?
Founder of Ruach Dromit and CEO since its establishment in 2013. Forty-eight years old, married to Dror and a mother of four. Resides in Kibbutz Beit Kama in the northern Negev. Holistic psychotherapy and healing practitioner since 2000.
My story:
I always wanted to do something meaningful that expands the circle of giving, to those with little means as well. One morning I woke up with a strong sense of calling, and I thought of the idea of creating a supportive community with a holistic approach for cancer patients in the Negev. The road to realizing this vision, and even more so the wonderful people I get to meet along the way, fill me with great pride and satisfaction. I am excited about the pace in which the organization is growing, and from the increasing number of people it touches, volunteers and patients alike; I look forward with excitement and hope to continue expanding the vision and the practice.

My story:
I arrived at Ruach Dromit as a volunteer and fell in love with all that the organization does for the benefit of cancer patients in the South. Today I coordinate volunteers at Soroka for the organization and act as project coordinator for “Just Because of the Spirit” Home Hospice Care in memory of Arieh Guedj, and I’m enjoying every moment– from the endless giving, to touching so many people, to providing love and kindness to the different patients in the Soroka Medical Center and/or in their homes during life’s most fragile moments.
